The automatic glue mixer is the heart of the solvent-free mixing equipment and is responsible for realizing the key functions of the solvent-free mixing process. In actual production, there are many misunderstandings about it and its use management, resulting in many quality accidents and disputes. Common misconceptions are as follows:

1. when the mixing ratio accuracy reaches 3% or 5%, it can be used normally. In fact, for most applications, a mixing ratio of 3% or 5% can meet the requirements, because the tolerance of the general adhesive will reach or exceed 10%, and the reaction conditions and curing requirements are fully considered in the design of the adhesive. However, in many cases, we need to adjust the curing speed of the adhesive and the softness of the adhesive film, which requires a more precise control of the mixing ratio, such as when the composite aluminized film. In this case, a mixing ratio accuracy of 3% or 5% cannot be operated, and reaching 1% is a necessary condition. The proportion of aluminized film used in China is higher than that in many other countries and regions, and the accuracy of the mixing ratio is also higher.

2. mixing machine glue must be cleaned. Many suppliers recommend that users must clean the glue mixer when changing the glue, and most users do the same. This method seems reasonable, but time-consuming and laborious, improper operation will increase the quality risk.

It is also a common mistake to 3. that the heating temperature of the same brand of glue is the same under all environmental conditions. Since the adhesive will inevitably be affected by the ambient temperature and humidity during the operation of the glue mixing machine, the set value of the heating temperature should be adjusted appropriately in different seasons and different ambient temperatures. Simply put, when the ambient temperature is high, a slightly lower heating temperature can be set. When the ambient temperature is low, special attention should be paid to the higher setting value, rather than any value within the scope of the specification.

4., there is no problem in setting the temperature of the adhesive A and the adhesive B arbitrarily within the temperature range specified in the specification. Adhesive instructions for the use of the temperature of the provisions are relatively broad, generally given a range, usually on the, B adhesive temperature difference is not limited. But in fact, the viscosity of some adhesives is very sensitive to temperature, and even a temperature difference of 5 ° may have a significant impact on the viscosity, thereby affecting the uniformity of mixing. In other words, it is necessary to fully understand the temperature-dependent characteristics of the viscosity of the two-component adhesive, and to control the working viscosity of the two-component adhesive by temperature so that it is as close as possible. The working temperature of some polyurethane adhesives must be higher than that of glue A. If the glue mixing machine does not pay attention to the operation, quality problems may occur.

5., only by increasing the number of static mixing tubes can the mixing uniformity be improved. Increasing the number of static mixing tubes is the main way to improve the mixing uniformity, but in fact the mixing uniformity is not entirely determined by the number of mixing tubes. The uniformity of the mixing machine is also closely related to other factors, such as the working temperature or viscosity of the adhesive, the mixing ratio, the structure of the mixing pipe, the structure of the conveying hose, etc. The consistency of the actual working viscosity of the two adhesives is particularly obvious.
